SRIGANGANAGAR’S DAUGHTER GOPIKA AWARDED PHD

Dr. Gopika Juneja Monga, a proud native of Sriganganagar, has earned a significant academic distinction through her perseverance and commitment to research. She has been awarded a PhD in the Faculty of Commerce by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, for her research work on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). Her research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Yogesh Desai, Assistant Professor at P.D. Pandya College, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Gopika’s academic journey reflects dedication and excellence. She completed her schooling at Nosegay Public School, Sriganganagar, followed by a B.Com (Honours) and M.Com from Delhi University. She further strengthened her academic credentials with an MBA from Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar.

Currently, Dr. Gopika is serving as an Assistant Professor at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, where she actively contributes to teaching and research. Her research guide, Dr. Yogesh Desai, commended her sincerity and in-depth study, stating that her work upholds high academic standards.

She is the daughter of Sanjeev Juneja and Rajni Juneja of Sriganganagar. Dr. Gopika is married to Vidur Monga, son of retired bank officer Rakesh Monga and Neelam Monga. She credited her achievement to the constant encouragement and support of her parents, teachers, and mentors. Dr. Gopika described her PhD not merely as a milestone, but as a foundation for making meaningful contributions to academia and research in the future. Officials from Gujarat University also extended their congratulations and wished her continued success in her academic endeavors.
